Seven Weeks to Go Until DCS's Elijah at Cadogan Hall!

Writer: Guy CollinsGuy Collins

There are just seven weeks to go until Dulwich Choral Society performs Mendelssohn's great oratorio Elijah at Cadogan Hall, and we are looking forward to being joined by the City of London Sinfonia, the resident orchestra of Holland Park Opera, and the James Allen's Girls' School Holst Choir. We will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of our founding, so it is sure to be a memorable evening both musically and historically. Our music director Aidan Oliver, who is Chorus Director of the Edinburgh Festival Chorus, will be conducting a wonderful line-up of soloists, led by Neal Davies, baritone, in the title role of Elijah, as well as Sarah Fox, soprano, Catherine Hopper, mezzo-soprano and Andrew Henley, tenor. It is the choir's first return to Cadogan Hall since our very successful St. Matthew Passion there in Spring 2017 and we look forward to a stirring performance. Come and join us! Tickets are available at www.cadoganhall.com
