Mozart was working on the composition of his Requiem in the final weeks of his life in the autumn of 1791, and this along with the poignancy of his death that December at the tragically young age of 35 has contributed to the myths and mystery surrounding the work. It remains one of the most popular in the choral repertoire and we are delighted to be hosting a Come & Sing day exploring its various aspects. All are most welcome to join us at St. Barnabas Church, Calton Avenue, Dulwich Village from 10 am. that day, with an informal concert planned for late afternoon. Details and tickets are available on our website.
